BRAKK

BRAKK

The place I want to introduce to you is a "non-place" – designed but unused.

At the same time, it is deeply intertwined with my personal history and upbringing, and no other location better illustrates the changes in my hometown than this one.

Please watch the video where I take you to this place outside the city walls and then share the ideas I have for this spot.

BRAKK

Braunauer Kommunale Kantine

(Braunau communeal cantine):

An art project that redefines community

Encounter and creative exchange

This unique installation will become a vibrant community hub in the coming months, where people of all ages and interests can come together to connect, learn, and celebrate.

BRAKK is more than just an art installation – it is a place of encounter and creative exchange. The covered platform will serve as a stage for a diverse program that includes craft and art workshops, DJ line-ups, children's discos, yoga classes, theater performances, sweat lodges, lectures, social gatherings, and much more.

This variety of activities offers all visitors the opportunity to learn new skills, express themselves artistically, or simply enjoy the company of others.

BRAKK is a temporary art project in Braunau am Inn that provides a platform for artistic and cultural activities.

The goal of the project is to foster community, bring people together, and enable creative exchange and shared experiences through a diverse program.

Program

The program is also designed to bring together different demographics in one place by offering activities in parallel that appeal to age groups who might not otherwise encounter each other.

It was incredibly fun to engage with this place and my ideas for its use. I’ve never had an idea with this level of clarity before. Thank you for this opportunity.
